Canvas Prints

Bring photographs, artwork and graphics onto a textured canvas surface. Canvas Prints work well for art reproductions, home decor, business displays and other indoor projects where the material is part of the finished look.

A textured matte surface

The canvas is an 11 oz poly-cotton blend made from 65% polyester and 35% cotton. Its Oxford weave and matte gesso finish give your image a canvas texture rather than the smooth surface of a paper print. Your design is printed on one side.

Plan the display you want

Choose a custom size around your image and the space where it will be displayed. Landscape photographs, artwork, maps and decorative graphics are all useful starting points. Match the proportions of the artwork to the finished size so the important parts of the image stay in the composition.

The order includes printed canvas material. Stretching, framing, mounting and hanging hardware are not included. The material is suitable for stretching or framing separately, so you can plan the finished presentation with your own framer or installer.

Prepare the image for its final size

Use the original, high-quality image where possible. Enlarging a small image can make softness or pixelation more noticeable, so check fine details and lettering at the size you intend to print.

For an ordinary Onyx online order, prepare the artwork at the selected print size without added bleed or crop marks. If you plan to stretch or frame the canvas afterward, agree on the full material size and any extra image or border area with your framer before ordering. The print order does not include an automatic canvas wrap or finished frame.
